ಹೊಸ ತಲೆಮಾರಿನ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ಎಂದೇ ಬಿಂಬಿತವಾಗಿರುವ 3ಜಿ ಐ ಫೋನ್ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ (ಜು.11) ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ನಾ ಮುಂದು ತಾ ಮುಂದು ಎಂದು ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಆಪೆಲ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಲುಗಟ್ಟಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಅನಿವಾಸಿ ಭಾರತೀಯರಂತೂ ಐಫೋನ್ ಮೋಹಕ್ಕೆ ಹುಚ್ಚರಾಗಿ ಮುಂಗಡ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಾದಿರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಏನಿದು ಐ ಫೋನ್?
ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಮಲ್ಟಿಮೀಡಿಯಾ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನನ್ನು ಐಫೋನ್ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆಫೆಲ್ ಕಂಪನಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ 3ಜಿ ಐಫೋನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳಿವೆ. ಟಚ್ ಸ್ಕ್ರೀನ್ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೀಬೋರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಟನ್‌ಗಳ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವೂ ಇದೆ. ಇ-ಮೇಲ್‌, ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಟೆಕ್ಸ್ಟ್ ಮೆಸೇಜ್, ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಒಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾದ ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

2007ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾದ ಐ ಫೋನ್‌ಗಿಂತಲೂ ಈ ಹೊಸ ತಲೆಮಾರಿನ ಐಫೋನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಪುಟಗಳನ್ನು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬಹುದು. 20ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಪೆಲ್ ಕಂಪನಿ ಈ ಹೊಸ ಐ ಫೋನನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿತು. 2008ರ ವರ್ಷಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ 10 ದಶಲಕ್ಷ ಐಫೋನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಕಂಪನಿಗಿದೆ. ಮುಂಗಡ ಹಣಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಾದಿರಿಸಿ 300 ಡಾಲರ್‌ಗೆ ಐಫೋನ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಅನಿವಾಸಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರಮೇಶ್ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಅವರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೋ ಖುಷಿ ಎದ್ದು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

 

ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ 2007-08ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್‌ವೇರ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ರಫ್ತು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಶೇ. 28ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ವರ್ಷಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್‌ವೇರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಫ್ಟ್‌ವೇರ್ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ರಫ್ತು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, 40.3 ಶತಕೋಟಿ ಡಾಲರ್ ಮುಟ್ಟಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ 1,41,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರು. ಮೊತ್ತದ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್‌ವೇರ್ ರಫ್ತಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿದ್ಯುನ್ಮಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಟಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ರಫ್ತು 1,75,700 ಕೋಟಿ ರು.ಗಳಿಗೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ದೇಶೀಯ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಮಗ್ರವಾಗಿ ಐಟಿ-ಬಿಪಿಒ ಉದ್ಯಮ 2007-08ನೇ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇ.28ರಷ್ಟು ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ 52 ಶತಕೋಟಿ ಡಾಲರ್‌ಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಭಾರತದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮುಂಚೂಣಿ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್‌ವೇರ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಾದ ಟಾಟಾ ಕನ್ಸಲ್ಟೆನ್ಸಿ, ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್, ವಿಪ್ರೊ ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ಯಂ ಉತ್ತಮ ತ್ರೈಮಾಸಿಕ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿವೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿವೆ.
