Date: 11th August 07 Name: Mr. Subrahmanyan, Journalist, The Hindu, Topic: “Values And Ethics” He gave an inspiring speech, by narrating his own experience & agony of loosing sight gradually at a very young age, the way he became courageous, determined and how he adapted himself to the new challenges. He also mentioned about his mother’s constant support, which helped him overcome all the hurdles. It was really amazing to see his self-sufficiency in all walks of life. He enlightened the students about some of the pains the less privileged undergo and emphasized on value system and determination towards achieving the goal. It was indeed a real inspiring speech for our students and it was the first among the series of workshops to be organized at RiiiT. It has certainly helped them in setting their goals & making a dedicated effort in achieving the goal. < Back
