| The course is aimed at transforming science & Engineering graduates into IT Professional. Therefore, it starts from the fundamentals of Computers and takes them to programming concepts through C language. Subjects like Software Engineering Fundamentals, Database Concepts, which forms the foundation of any IT Professional are covered in the Foundation Track. Extensive hands-on sessions along with workshops and case studies drive the sessions. Assessments are done at different levels and bridge sessions are conducted-if necessary- to reinforce the concepts. An introduction to WEB Programming through HTML and scripting is also covered in the foundation track along with a Mini Project. The course is a perfect mix of Soft skills, English and Life skills. The course also includes rigorous training on Analytical skills. Students are given specific technology (.net/j2ee) based training once their fundamentals are built. This is followed by real life projects at industries. |

| Session Planning |
|
Faculty at RiiiT follows a structured process involving five stages of delivery. In the initial stage, Instructional Design procedures are followed in identifying the scope followed by detailed content preparation. Course material also includes extensive workbook & case studies, which reinforces the concepts covered. Course material becomes an input to the Teaching aids like classroom presentations with the clear objectives set for each session. This becomes an input for the detailed session plan and for the final conduction of the course. Faculty ensures that the defined objectives are achieved at the end of each session.
Extensive care and enormous efforts have been put in each step of designing the training calendar for the track. Strict Adherence to the planned activities helps us in conducting variety of activities during the stipulated time including extensive training on technical subjects. Some of the unique features of training are insight into industries through regular CXO meets, task driven hands on technical subjects, projects driven by workshops, virtual work place, etc.
